Justjohn.co.uk is the trading name of John M Reid.
John has been working with computer systems since 1978, starting his own business, justjohn.co.uk, in 1992.
This business provides a consultancy to small businesses and individuals across a wide range of computer and IT services including the specification of hardware and software to meet his client's specific needs, networking and communication systems, and multimedia applications. John helps clients to specify their IT requirements, the selection of contractors to fulfill these and the technical support to translate their quotations, contracts and reports into plain English. He will also put together a team to complete a project for a client where required and assist the client to manage that project effectively.

- taught computing, information technology and multimedia technologies throughout his career at high school, college and university levels;

- has built his own computer systems since the mid-1980's to meet the needs of specific projects;

- designed, implemented and managed network and communication systems in schools, colleges and small businesses;
|
- designed and built multimedia information kiosks which have run throughout the country and been maintained remotely from his home base in Cumbria;

- won a prestigious DTI Multimedia Demonstrator Programme Award in collaboration with the Building Research Establishment and British Stone for utilizing an Internet Trading Hub, video conferencing and mobile multimedia to enable remote customers and suppliers to work together interactively
